Cyberview Partners Cuzzy Media to Market Cyberjaya in North America

Kuala Lumpur, Oct 30(Bernama) –Cyberview Sdn Bhd plans to embark on an international promotional and branding exercidse to promote cyberjaya, will reach an audience of over 30 milion in North America. Cyberview, as the landowner of Cyberjaya and the entity mandate to spearhead its entire development, will partner a local knowledge-based SME, Cuzzy Media Sdn Bhd to market it over selected television networks such as CNN, CNBC, Fox News and TV Guide.

A30-second television commercials featuring Cyberjaya, produced by Cuzzy Media, will be aired over the five networks, begenning November for three weeks.Cyberview managing director, Redza Rafiq said Cyberjaya was now 11 years old and over the past two years had been aggressively promoted in the local media.
“I am proud to sy that we have been successful in attracting attention to Cyberjaya and branding it as city to play, live, study and work,” he said in a statement here today. He said the success rate could be seen in the number of companies that have moved to Cyberjaya over the past two years. “A total of 172 companies moved to Cyberjaya between 2006 and 2007 when compared to 302 companies from 1998 to 2005.

“We would like to attribute the increase to an integrated marketing, promotional and branding exercise coupled with other attractive packages that we offer potential investors,” he added Cyberjaya, the nucleus of the Multimedia Super Corridor Malaysia, now hostes 474 companies, 30 which are multinationals and 444 home-grown. ” We have mandate to spearhead the development of Cyberjaya. To do this we need to adopt a nolistic approach.

“Other than providing physical and soft infrustructure to benefit companies who choose to base their operations in cyberjaya, we also need to market it locally and internationally,”he said. “As such, our atempt to tap international an audience via international television networks and the new media is natural progression,” he said.
